Delivering over 100 items of national press coverage in 12 months for our client’s drinks practice
Our client, a Top 20 UK accountancy firm that works across a wide range of sectors, wanted a proactive PR programme to raise its profile amongst businesses in the drinks industry. The programme we delivered achieved over 100 items of national press coverage in 12 months.
We identified topics that would be relevant to our client’s practice area within the drinks sector and drafted press releases presenting our findings in an easily digestible, accessible way for journalists. Topics covered as part of the PR programme included:
- The rise in the number breweries operating in the UK
- The craft beer boom
- The take-off of the English wine market
- The increase in the number of independent distilleries in the UK
As well as drafting press releases, distributing them and following up with journalists, other activity delivered as part of the programme included:
- Carrying out bespoke desk research for each press release
